sharp and sweet

sometimes the sweetest finds are enroute
to somewhere else.
perusing through an antique shop today
I came upon a pretty trio
of shears.
 sharpened and with proper markings
on the blades
cutting cloth like it was butter.
mighty sweet
and all for under thirty dollars.
ready for honest work.

...that was my thought when I first looked at the picture ... Japanese style horticultural tools. ... cotton/silk "dotted swiss" should be a lovely summer top :o) ~ m.

  5. There is nothing nicer than good, sharp, comfortable scissors. So what are you going to cut out and make?

    1. I am making some simple(emphasis on simple)summer tops for starters with the lightweight cotton/silk fabric, sweet litle dots all through it.
